There are more than million reconstructive surgery procedures performed by surgeons every year. Patients are teenagers injured in car accidents, children with birth defects, older folks who have problems that are caused by aging. There are many examples, but the point is that all these patients need and benefit from reconstructive surgery.
As we said before, people often confuse it with cosmetic surgery, because they do not see the difference. There is a thin line between these two, yet it is so big. If there is a patient who wants to change a part of his body that is already functional, non-damaged - he is a cosmetic surgery patient. On the other side, if a person with some kind of body trauma want a surgery, that person will be a patient for reconstructive plastic surgery.
Primary goal is to restore function of the body, reshape it that way to improve patient appearance so the patient is returned to previous, normal state. As consequence, patient's self esteem is raised and he has improved quality of life. These are just the basics so you can understand |

The older you get the greater the risk that you will not be accepted but, if at the age of 70, you are still a viable option for long-term care insurance the annual cost will probably be more than double the cost of a 60 year old at around $1,600 to $2,000 or more. Compared to the costs of other types of insurance the cost of long term care insurance is probably one of the trickiest costs to figure out.
Legal changes: Again, the federal government and some states have now changed the rules on what Medicaid applicants can legally do to qualify for benefits. Prices vary depending on how old you are, how much long term care insurance you want to purchase, the kinds of options you choose to go along with your long term care insurance policy, and of course the long term care insurance provider you choose to purchase your policy from.
